Nutrition Counseling

Are you looking to improve your health behaviors without dieting? Let us help! We are a team of nutritionists providing virtual non-diet nutrition counseling to help you reach your health goals.

At our practice, we specialize in Intuitive Eating and focus on developing a healthy relationship with food. Our goal is to promote gentle nutrition that allows individuals to learn how to nourish their body without following restrictive diets. We understand that dieting can take an emotional toll, so we provide personalized strategies for building a healthier relationship with food and eating.

The first 8 principles of Intuitive Eating center around improving your relationship with food rather than focusing too heavily on the nutrition aspect. Principle 10 – Gentle Nutrition - is focused on helping individuals make well-informed choices about what they eat based on their own needs and preferences while being mindful of the nutrient content of their food.

We are passionate about helping people make positive lifestyle changes that will last a lifetime. We provide guidance on everything from non-diet goal setting to developing a positive mindset around food and learning how best to nourish your body through gentle nutrition practices. We work collaboratively with each individual and at their own speed.

Ultimately, we want you to feel more comfortable and confident in making decisions about what foods feel right for your body so that you can reach your health goals without feeling deprived or overwhelmed. Through the program, I was able to get back to listening to my body and what it needs, eating mindfully and enjoying life again. I used to have so much stress and anxiety when I ate around people, which ended up causing me to overeat, but now I can truly enjoy socializing, eating without guilt, and trusting my body to tell me when I'm full. I also gained the skills to set small goals towards a healthier lifestyle, which helps to re-build self-integrity.
